The THI Summer Youth Academy, the summer basketball camp by The Hellenic Initiative in partnership with Eurohoops Organization, is back for a third consecutive year, revamped and with even more activities. Starting July 6 to July 31, 2026, the facilities of Leonteios School of Athens in Patissia will be transformed into a colorful hub of sports, learning, and creativity for boys and girls aged 10–17.
The THI Summer Youth Academy program includes two sessions, lasting two weeks each (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), that will accommodate more than 100 children. It aims to become the highlight of the summer for any child or teenager seeking to combine fun with personal development. At the heart of the program is, of course, basketball, with training sessions and games. Beyond the court, the activities include leadership, collaboration, and digital safety skills workshops, a comic art workshop, and skateboarding lessons, as well as meetings with inspirational personalities who will offer motivation and encouragement. A highlight celebrity game, featuring special guests and surprises, will take place in the middle of the Academy to keep the energy soaring.

This summer, the excitement moves directly into Athens neighborhoods with fun activations and giveaways at public basketball courts. These events offer free games and entertainment for all ages as part of Novibet’s social responsibility program, Giant Heart.
