Everything about attending New Leaders events, joining The Hellenic Circle and serving on the Executive Committee.

The Hellenic Circle

The membership of THI New Leaders — a global community for young Hellenes and Philhellenes under 40.

New Leaders is THI’s global community of young Hellenes and Philhellenes. Anyone can stay connected by joining our mailing list to receive updates and attend open, ticketed New Leaders events around the world.

The Hellenic Circle is the membership program within New Leaders. Open to those under 40, it offers members-only experiences and benefits to build meaningful relationships, give back to Greece, and become more actively involved.

100%

of your dues fund the New Leaders Giving Pool.

Each year THI will propose the vetted grantees eligible to receive the New Leaders Giving Pool grant. Each Hellenic Circle member gets to vote on which grantee will receive this year’s grant.
Your Hellenic Circle membership dues are 100% tax deductible. The Hellenic Initiative is a registered 501(c)(3) in the United States.

Regional chapters are groups of Hellenic Circle members that meet more regularly and are run by designated Regional Ambassadors. Every new member is automatically placed into a chapter, based on location.

Chapters currently span the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest and Southwest in the United States, plus Athens, Greece.

Global Digital is designed for members living outside the United States and is offered at a flat annual rate regardless of age.

The membership includes opportunities to lead a New Leaders Committee, vote in the annual Giving Pool, participate in virtual coffee hours and monthly peer matching, and connect through our private online groups.

Global Digital does not include in-person benefits, such as regional chapter placement, masterclasses and the Symposium, Lord Byron Circle events, or New York Gala member pricing.

At forty, members graduate into our Alumni Circle.

Alumni Circle members can chair the Giving Pool vote, mentor the next generation of New Leaders, and stay connected through a private alumni community. The transition happens automatically, and we will write to you with the details.

Yes! Our New Leaders cocktail parties are ticketed and open to everyone. We encourage you to join us, bring a friend, and get to know the New Leaders community.

Some experiences are reserved exclusively for Hellenic Circle members, including masterclasses and the New Leaders Symposium, our members-only weekend in Greece, select Lord Byron Circle gatherings, small-group coffee hours, and member pricing for the annual New York Gala.

New Leaders Executive Committee

The members who run the program — setting the agenda, leading the committees and shaping where New Leaders goes next.

The New Leaders Executive Committee is our leadership team of Hellenic Circle members who want to take a more active role in shaping the future of New Leaders. Members of the committee are appointed for a two-year term and serve across five committees: Membership, Events, Social Media, Regional Chapters and Alumni Circle.

All active members of The Hellenic Circle are eligible to apply for a position on the New Leaders Executive Committee. Current Executive Committee members will continue their terms through the end of 2027. Applications for the 2028 cohort will open in Q2 2027.
