ACTION FINANCE INITIATIVE (AFI)

In 2026, THI funds support a targeted microfinance and entrepreneurship program in Messinia, Laconia, and Arcadia, focused on agriculture and tourism. AFI will support 50–60 beneficiaries through microloans of up to €25,000 paired with mandatory training and one-on-one mentoring, deploying approximately €900,000 in low-interest microloans with the aim of creating 80 jobs and at least 50 sustainable businesses — helping young professionals remain in their communities.
