Volunteering Activity Description:
The volunteer will be supporting us in the everyday life of the agricultural department of the farm. The positions tasks vary depending on the season. During autumn, volunteers will help us with the almonds’, walnuts and olive harvesting as well as pruning. Early spring activities will involve landscaping and preparation of the vegetable patches. In May volunteers can join us in artichoke-picking. During summer, volunteers can join us for landscaping and maintenance activities as well as helping us build more creative games out of wood. During our annual festivals, volunteers can join us and help us facilitate the events for the citizens of Volos and the broader area. We are caring for our farm with our families. No use of heavy machinery will be required. The tasks are tailor-made for every volunteer and usually are 2-3 hours per day.

Our volunteers support us 2-3 hours per day at morning or late afternoon when the weather is not very hot. The volunteer’s programme is tailor-made and suits his/her needs and wishes. For us every little help is highly appreciated either it is a couple of hours during the volunteer’s holidays or a whole week.

No qualifications are required. The tasks will be tailor-made depending on the skills of every individual. Families are welcome to join us as well to experience a few hours of volunteerism together.
